If so, we are currently recruiting volunteers to help us during the upcoming Spectra shows. Spectra is a performance project for people with learning disabilities.

What does the role involve?
Assisting artists in setting up and clearing away the performance spaces.
Monitoring and steward the different performance spaces around Cannon Hill Park.
Providing a warm welcome to audience members.
Supporting with hair, makeup and wardrobe if you have such skills!
Skills/ Qualifications required?
Approachable and friendly.
Confident and able to interact with people with learning disabilities and members of public.
Interest in physical theatre and performance.
Reliable and committed.
A good sense of humour!

If you are successful in your application then you will have the chance to develop your experience in creating live performance, work with people with learning disabilities, gain customer facing experience and meet lots of exciting creative people! Training and support is provided.More about Spectra:Spectra’s performances are created by mixed professional and community casts, the community cast members all being learning disabled. The performances are multi-sensory and of a promenade nature, leading the audience around a given space rather than the traditional performers on a stage with seated audience.
